Touch of the Blues Registered Irish Draught (RID) X Seattle Gift (TB)
For Sale $12,000.00
In preparation for our relocation we are downsizing our breeding program and have gelded this lovely horse and are offering him for sale as a riding/competition prospect. Blue is extremely well handled, has had extensive ground work including lunging, long lining, free jumping. He is willing, athletic and has a great work ethic. Blue has had a rider on him several times without issue and is very smart and sane. I have no rider to continue his education so he is being sold as "started". He is a lovely mover, being out of a TB show hunter mare and by the exceptionally well know Touch of the Blues (RID) stallion. I think he will succeed at any sport venue. See his listing in the Stallion section for full details, pedigree and pictures.
For Sale $8,500.00
"Mac" is a proven show hunter, eventer and foxhunter. I sold this horse to an older woman several years ago. She trail rode and foxhunted him and also had a young woman train, show, event and foxhunt him. When she was unable to ride and care for him she sold him back to me. Now I am cutting back on riding horses and am offering him for sale to another "special" home. The pictures say it all. He has no health, soundness or behavior issues. He is an easy keeper and only wears shoes during foxhunting season.
This is a note she sent with the horse:
"Mac is a sweet horse and doesn't have any bad habits - great around the barn, good around dogs/hounds, leads, cross ties, etc. I will truly miss him - he is quite smart and has a great personality. A SUPER jumper."
This is a great all-around horse. He is a big bodied 16.1 hands. Stout enough for a man, but easy enough for lady or teen. He is very responsive to aids and also neckreins for western riding.

For Sale $7,500.00 - pending further training
This Irish Sport Horse filly is a 1/2 Thoroughbred, 1/4 Paint and 1/4 Irish/Clyde cross. (Full sister to Diamond Drop Cowboy and Coal Fire - read Cowboy's ad for sibling history.) She is true black and white and stands a bit over 16 hands at barely three. She should mature to the 16.2-16.3 size range. She is very quiet and well mannered and should make an excellent prospect for showing, eventing and foxhunting as all of her siblings have done. Chrome would also make an awesome sporthorse broodmare prospect. Working well under saddle and showing great jumping talent. The trainer LOVES her!!
Charleys Tru Image x Southern Comfort
For Sale $10,000.00 - pending further training
Diamond Drop COWBOY - Black (Almost) and White Tobiano, gelding. His sire is Charley's Tru Image, his dam is Southern Comfort (1/2 TB-1/4 Irish-1/4 Clydesdale). "Cowboy" is a classic Thoroughbred Cross Sport Horse. He gets his size and attitude from the Irish Draught/Clydesdale, the athletic ability, movement and giddy-up from the Thoroughbred (He's just a touch less than 1/2 Thoroughbred) and the flashy tobiano coloring from the Paint (Charley's Tru Image). "Cowboy" has been well handled since birth and loves attention. He's the pasture clown, but is always the first one home for dinner! His potential is unlimited. He has excellent conformation and is a very good mover. He should mature 16.2-17 hands. I had planned on him being my next all around jumper, foxhunter and "Usin' horse", but I find myself with too many to ride already, so he is now offered for sale. His half-siblings make up a list of Who's Who in equestrian sports...One Grand Prix Jumper (Ohio), one "A" circuit Show Hunter (NC), one upper level Event Prospect (California - sold to a client of Denny Emerson), two jumpers in training (Ohio) and a Low Level Eventer, Pet (Kansas). ALL of these horses also Foxhunt and ALL are owned and ridden by Amateurs. His flashy looks will get you noticed - ANYWHERE! Nicely started, needs finishing. A perfect gentleman in every way. Recently measured at 16.3 hands.
Peppy J x Josie McBee
SOLD!!! She will be offered for sale without her 2012 foal. $750 negotiable to an excellent, broodmare ONLY, home. Buyer will be allowed to breed to a stallion of their choice, but mare stays at our farm until weaning. Currently in foal to Seattle Blues (ISH stallion) for 2012 guaranteed pinto Irish Sport Horse foal. Peppy is a well bred, big bodied, 16.1 hand mare who looks like a warmblood and produces outstanding paint and sporthorse babies who often mature over 17 hands. She is also tested HOMOZYGOUS for the tobiano gene. She has never had a solid colored foal. Peppy is one of the best mares we've ever had...easy to breed, gets right in foal, is an easy keeper and is an excellent mother. She even took on an orphaned foal in 2009 in addition to her own foal and nutured them both until they were weaned at 6 months...maintaining her own excellent body condition. We have had her since she was three years old and are just trying to downsize our breeding operation. She is the dam of Rainmaker (see her ad, here). Peppy is not broken to ride and sells as a broodmare only...THAT is her career!! She is good to handle and has no bad habits.
Puchi's Rambo x Shesthebeesknees
Sold to western Oklahoma as Jumper/event prospect!
Sold to Wisconsin as Show Hunter!! 17.1 hands (barefoot!!) Surefire is a well bred thoroughbred (Mr. Prospector/Affirmed) that we bought with the plan to breed him to our painted Thoroughbred mares and Irish Sport Horses after the death of Jagged Illusion. Our breeding plans are a bit on hold with the down economy and Surefire's disposition, movement and size made gelding and selling him a wiser option. Even as a stallion - towering over all the other horses - he has always been kind enough to pasture with other geldings and stands in a center aisle stable with horses on all sides and is always a gentleman. He has the bone of an Irish horse, but is agile, graceful, well balanced and a fantastic mover. He is willing and loves attention and would make a fabulous show horse, eventer or foxhunter. He is not broken to ride at this time, but has been started in some ground work.
Puchi's Rambo x Jumeirah Jane
Sold to California, Thoroughbred breeder!! This filly is a full sister to "Proof Positive" and offers the same potential as her sister. "Dancer" is out of very successful, black type racing families. She has been well handled for her whole life and is a pleasure to work with. This is a big striding, very athletic filly who should mature close to 17 hands or more, but has the grace and athletic ability to excel at any discipline and then be an asset to a breeding program ...with the added bonus of carrying loud sabino/overo genes.
Charley's Tru Image x Southern Comfort (1/2 TB-1/4 Clyde-1/4 Irish)
